Our bar serves a range of local cask ales, lagers, ciders, wines and non-alcoholic drinks. Our menu features Crown classics, seasonal specials made with fresh ingredients, and lighter lunch options.

Proudly pouring local ales

As a free house, we are free to champion the breweries on our doorstep, and you will always find ale from the Chiltern Brewery on the bar.

Alongside it we keep a regular choice of terrific guest ales, changing often, so there is usually something new to try - recent guests have included Harvey’s Sussex Best Bitter, Timothy Taylor’s and Otter.

Add to that lagers, ciders, wines and thoughtful non-alcoholic choices, and there is always something worth raising a glass to. Rooted in the community that saved it, The Crown brings people together over good drink and good company.

Fizz Friday

Fizz all day, every Friday. A 75cl bottle of Vino Spumante is £15, and a 200ml bottle of alcohol-free Noseco is £5.
